Unity Snowboards was started in the winter of 1995-1996 by Pete Wurster and Pavel Krikava.  Pete and Pavel learned how to make boards from the original snowboard builder in Colorado, Steve Link of Summit Snowboards.  They started Unity with the idea of building stronger boards designed around riders who ride hard and demand the most from their equipment.  Today our passion for snowboarding continues to push our designs.  People who ride Unity boards will always come first. Our commitment to quality, innovative design, testing and riding has been a driving force from the day we started Unity and continues to be a driving force today.
