Loveland and A-Basin are open for the season.
Loveland Ski Area and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area are both open for season. They both opened this week with one run of man made snow. This is the earliest that they have ever opened. We have had some really cold weather here in Summit County for the past couple of weeks and it allowed the resorts to make a bunch of snow. So, the season has started here in Colorado! Jesse Csincsak, Jeff Meyer and Nate Doggg got the first chair of the season at Loveland. These guys have been riders and friends of Unity Snowboards for a long time.

First Snow of the Season
It snowed off and on all day at the Unity factory today. It didn’t stick too much but it’s cool to see it dumping again!

A-Basin Demo Day
We are doing a demo at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area tomorrow and Sunday May 2nd and 3rd, 2009. We will have some of our new 2009-2010 boards available to try out. The Reverse series is our new reverse camber board line for next season. We will have some of those to try out as well as the new ULS boards. Our tent will be set up at the main base area at A-Basin.

Alaska
Just got back from an insane trip to Haines, Alaska. I don’t think anything can compare to the mountains and the riding up there. It is a whole different level! Thanks to Ashley Call, Sean Dog and the crew at Alaska Heliskiing and all the guys at SEABA (South East Alaska Backcountry Adventures). It was a great trip!
